Privacy Policy

Your trust is the foundation of our academy. This policy explains how Omnivia Academy collects, uses, and protects the personal information of our students, families, and community.

1. Information We Collect

Omnivia Academy collects the information you provide when you register an account, enroll in courses, or contact our team. This may include your name, email address, student profile details, and academic records. We also automatically collect limited technical data such as device type, browser, and usage statistics to keep the platform secure and to improve the learning experience.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use your information to deliver and personalize your educational experience, to communicate with you about courses, progress, and academy updates, to maintain academic records, to provide technical support, and to operate and improve the platform. We never sell your personal information to third parties.

3. Information Sharing

Omnivia Academy shares information only with trusted service providers who help us operate the platform (such as hosting, payment processing, and analytics), each bound by confidentiality obligations, and when required to comply with legal obligations or protect the rights, safety, or property of our students and community.

4. Student & Children Privacy

Omnivia Academy serves students of all ages, including children. We obtain parental or guardian consent before collecting personal information from students under 13, in accordance with applicable laws including COPPA. Parents may review, update, or request deletion of their child’s information at any time by contacting us.

5. Privacy & Compliance

Omnivia Academy’s platform architecture is built from the ground up to comply with COPPA, FERPA, and GDPR regulations, ensuring no student PII (Personally Identifiable Information) is exposed. Access to student records is restricted by role, data is never sold or shared with advertisers, and every system handling student information is designed around these regulatory frameworks by default rather than as an afterthought.

6. Data Security

We implement reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect your personal information against unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we work to protect your information using industry-standard practices.

7. Cookies & Tracking

Omnivia Academy uses cookies and similar technologies to remember your session, understand how the platform is used, and deliver a smoother experience. You may control cookies through your browser settings, though disabling them may affect some platform features.

8. Your Rights & Choices

You may access, update, correct, or request deletion of your personal information. You may also opt out of certain communications. To exercise these rights, contact us using the details below. Where applicable, residents of certain regions have additional rights under laws such as the GDPR and CCPA.

9. Retention

We retain your information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide our services, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. When information is no longer needed, we delete it or anonymize it.

10. Third-Party Services

Omnivia Academy integrates with trusted third-party services to deliver video, media, and educational content. These providers may collect limited data as you interact with their features. Each provider governs your data under its own privacy policy. We encourage you to review the policies of any third-party service you use in connection with our platform.

11. YouTube Data API

Omnivia Academy uses the YouTube Data API to surface and display educational video content. When you interact with YouTube features on our platform, your data and activity are governed by Google’s Privacy Policy, available at https://policies.google.com/privacy. Our use of the YouTube API complies with the YouTube API Services Terms of Service, and we do not use the API to access or collect any YouTube data beyond what is necessary to provide our educational features.

12. Data Deletion & Account Removal

You may request deletion of your personal information or your entire account at any time. When you submit a deletion request, we will remove your personal data from active systems and anonymize or delete academic records where we are not legally required to retain them. Deletion may take up to 30 days to fully process across backups and redundant storage. Certain information may be retained to comply with legal obligations, protect against fraud, or enforce our Terms of Service. Parents and guardians may request deletion of a student’s data by contacting us using the details below.

13. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “last updated” date at the bottom of this page. Material changes will be communicated through the platform or by other reasonable means.
