What career does this lesson unlock?
Adelaide will match a real-world profession to what you just learned and walk you through a day on the job.
Core Content
Think about where you have seen this before. Bees build hexagons because hexagons waste no space. Nobody taught them geometry, yet the design is perfect. This is worth learning because noticing God’s order in shapes makes geometry worth caring about.
Watch for it today, and when you spot it, tell someone what you noticed and how you knew. Ask yourself where else the same idea might be hiding, then go and look.
Take a deep breath and look at this. Shapes fill the world God made. Honeycomb cells are hexagons, packed perfectly with no wasted space. Snowflakes have six points. Tree trunks are round, and the sun is a circle.
Inside places where people gather to worship, you will find arches, circles, and crosses built on purpose. Look for shapes today and count their sides. God is a God of order, and order has a shape you can see.
Try a shape walk outside. Count triangles in roofs, rectangles in doors, circles in wheels. The world was built and grown with shapes, and noticing them is the beginning of understanding how things are made. When you get it right, say thank You to God, who gave you that thinking mind.
